Helen Battelley

Helen Battelley is an International EYFS Movement Consultant based in the UK and has been working as an Early Years Professional for over 16 years.

In 1999 Helen created a unique syllabus for young children in dance/movement and music, based on sound pedagogy and extensive research, which meets and supports the National Curriculum EYFS Framework.
Helen delivers training, seminars and consultancy to EYFS practitioners, managers and teachers globally, in understanding the importance of dance/movement in play and the cross curricular links associated with dance in Early Childhood.

Helen has recently been awarded the tender as EYFS Dance and Movement Consultant for BSME schools in the Middle East.

Helen is currently working in consultation with National Schools Partnership in devising a new Nationwide Physically Active campaign for primary schools in conjunction with Change4Life.
