The day will start by analysing some real-life case studies & by discussing a range of options & potential solutions. The day will be largely interactive with a lot of time spent in both whole delegate & small-group discussion undertaking specific tasks; something which we have found from previous courses that participants really enjoy.

The aim of this year’s course is to enable delegates to have more ideas about how to manage

Attendance in their own school from a variety of perspectives.

These include:

1) Understanding better the mindset & reasons for pupils’ non-attendance;

2) Learning how to use attendance audit data in your school;

3) Discussing some ideas for improving school attendance in your school.
