Description

This one-day course focuses on school’s new legal responsibilities including term-time holidays, admission registers and penalty notices and meeting Ofsted expectations for attendance by improving strategies and data. Delegates will be shown best practice and look at case studies to help improve attendance as well as effective strategies to help improve attendance.

Objectives

  • help schools to raise and improve their attendance;
  • identify best practice;
  • meet inspection criteria;
  • understand improving school attendance in the context of Government perspectives.
