This course is designed to give delegates new to attendance an understanding of the context within which they carry out their role and responsibilities related to improving school attendance .We will examine the barriers to achieving this and provide solutions using a variety of approaches. There will be a focus on building robust internal systems and the use of attendance data.
During the course there will be opportunities to share best practice and examine case studies of schools who have significantly raised attendance levels.
